Hast du Positiv

It’s exactly one year when I met Sacho on the way coming to Europe, she is a young singer coming from Syria and now living in Austria. I walked with Sacho on the way to Europe about 8 hours and the temperature was -20° degree.

I arrived on the 2nd of January at Linz central station then I took the Tram and on the way was several museums and art places, I felt happy because she is living in artistic places, but then I had a phone call from her to know the exact address of  where she live. After one and half hour I arrived at Stollnberg, a place situated near Czech and German borders, a small nice village but not a place I like to live in.
Sacho and Farhad prepared all the night for the party on the next day. I saw several friends of Sacho coming to the party and started greeting me, but then I had respectively the question “Do you have POSITIVE!” I wondered why they ask that much about that! (Positive means when you have the asylum case excepted).
One of Sacho’s guests started a conversation with me:

Guest: Möchtest du in Berlin bleiben? (Do you want to stay in Berlin?)
Me: Ich wohne in Berlin. (I live in Berlin)
Guest: Aber Möchtest du in Berlin bleiben?  (But do you want to stay in Berlin)
Me: Ich wohne in Berlin!     (I live in Berlin!)
Guest: Ja Ich weiss, Aber Möchtest in Berlin bleiben?  (Yes I know, but do you want to stay in Berlin?)
Me: Ich wohne in Berlin!   (I live in Berlin!).

Then another guest whispered in the guest’s ear and said “Er hat POSITIV“(He has positive).
I asked them why everybody is asking about that! Why it’s the only question to say “do you have POSITIV!
The day ended with Arabic and Kurdish dancing and some singing from Sacho.
We went on the other day for a walk in snow, me and Sacho remembered the hard days of fleeing together because it was the same time and the atmosphere.
On the day after we went swimming with a friend of her. Sacho’s friend is a resident of Ulrichberg and she tried her best to teach us swimming.
On the last day we were invited for a dinner at Carina’s house, we had a delicious Austrian dinner and enjoyed the evening together.
Today I am on the way to my city, the one which is in my heart, to the city I loved, just happy to be back in Berlin.
