Dachil Sado

Aymen Montasser

Certificed engineer and architekt

Studied from 2003 to 2006 at the école nationale d'architecture et d'urbanisme de tunis.

Completed his studies 2013 at the TU Berlin, where he studied architecture and building preservation since 2011. He currently writes his PhD.

Larissa Hermanns

studied ethnology and philosophy in Mainz from 2012 to 2013.
2013-16 she studied Interdisciplinary Arts in Maastricht. She assisted KUNSTASYL intermediately in 2015 and 2016 while writing her Bachelor thesis.
Since January 2017 she works as project manager and artistic assistent on the project THE KINGS with KUNSTASYL.

Ahmad Abd Albaki

Finished school in 2009. He started to study economics but did not finish it. He lives in Germany since two years and wants to study film direction.
Since March 2017 he is part of KUNSTASYL and the project THE KINGS.

Charlotte Danoy Kent

studied styling and fashion in 2008-2010 in Paris. Shortly she experienced a passion for set-design in fashion photography.
As a storyteller, she naturally turned into art direction for fashion editorials. Now she combines her humanitarian engagement with participative-artistic work.
Since November 2016 she collaborates with KUNSTASYL. Together with the inhabitants of the emergency accomodation Mertensstraße in Berlin-Spandau and the team KUNSTASYL she developed the tent-installation "Passage" over the last four months.
"Passage" is part of the project THE KINGS by KUNSTASYL.

Omar Alshaer

After finishing school in 2007, Omar Alshaer dreamed of becoming an engineer. However, for lack of baksheesh and despite passing his intermediate examinations he was unable to begin his studies. Instead, from 2008 to 2013 he studied business economics at the University of Damascus. Afterwards, he worked for two years as a loan officer at Al Ibdaa Bank Syria. Currently, he is getting ready for a master’s program in Berlin.

Since March 2017, he is a member of KunstAsyl and it’s THE KINGS project.

Iyas Sari

Finished school in 2000. He studied pedagogics at Damaskus University and worked in different places in Syria as a primary school teacher. Since March 2017 he is part of KUNSTASYL and the project THE KINGS.

Susan Azizi

Susan Azizi was denied access to study arts. Hence, in 1993 the Iranian took to studying geography in Kermanshah. At the same time, she took classes in painting and sculpturing at a private school of arts. In 2005, she was approved as a teacher of arts in Iran. In 2006, she was officially recognized as a visual artist. Between 2008 and leaving her home country for political reasons in 2014 she carried out large-format commission work in public space.

Since March 2017, she is a member of KunstAsyl’s THE KINGS project. Within the project, she portraits several times a week the inhabitants of Notunterkunft Berliner Stadtmission (emergency shelter of Berlin City Mission) at Mertensstrasse

Leo Naomi Baur

Sie begann als Kind mit klassischem Ballett, Streetdance, zahlreichen gescheiterten Versuchen in diversen Ballsportarten, Pilates, Theater, Klettern, Capoeira Angola, Akrobatik, Zeitgenössischen Tanz und Improvisation, ihren Weg durch und mit ihrem Körper zu ergründen.
Da dabei die Frage des Zusammenhangs zwischen Körper und Gedanken/Psyche /Kopf eine immer wichtigere Rolle spielte, hat sie eine Ausbildung zur Tanztherapeutin begonnen.  Im Moment erforscht sie für sich selbst die Möglichkeiten ihre tänzerischen Erfahrungen mit den für sie schlüssigen
psychologischen Ansätzen und ihrem künstlerischen Anspruch in ihrer Arbeit zu vereinen.
Seit März 2017 ist sie Tanz-Dozentin bei dem Projekt DIE KÖNIGE.
 

Franziska Maling

Franziska absolvierte im Jahr 2015 ihr Studium der Musik- und Bewegungsorientierten Sozialen Arbeit in Regensburg.
In den Jahren 2015 und 2016 arbeitete sie in der Landwirtschaft als Sennerin. Als Sozialpädagogin nahm sie ihre Arbeit im Jahr 2017 auf.
Seit Januar 2017 bildet sie sich im Bereich der Körperarbeit bei Seneca Intensiv weiter. Als Tanzdozentin ist sie seit März 2017 bei dem Projekt DIE KÖNIGE aktiv.

Henna-Elise Ventovirta

Henna-Elise Ventovirta is an interdisciplinary dance artist originating from the Arctic Circle from Finland. In her work, she combines flamenco, contemporary dance, site-specific performance, community dance, improvisation and text. She received her professional education on flamenco in Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco in Seville in 2014. In addition, she continued studies on contemporary dance in the Dance Intensive Program  of TanzFabrik in Berlin under the direction of Gisela Müller 2015-2016.  She is a soloist in a contemporary flamenco company Compagnie el Contrabando and working as a pedagogue in Flamenco Werkstatt Berlin.
Henna-Elise is doing a further education in community dance pedagogic at SENECA, Berlin and is an active member of two artist collectives, We are the Planet and Re-imagining Future through Movement. Henna-Elise is as well studying in the MA Program Political Science in the University of Tampere. Since March 2017 she is a dance lecturer within the project THE KINGS.

Florian Bronk

Er studierte an der Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg und lernte im Einzelunterricht und Masterclasses bei Trilok Gurtu, Hakim Ludin, Naná Vasconcelos, Pete Lockett, Guruprasanna, Mark Nauseef, John Santos, u.a. Er ist Stipendiat der Yehudi Menuhin "Live Music Now" Stiftung.
Konzerte spielte er u.a. auf der Waldbühne Berlin, beim Festival International de Hammamet in Tunesien, in der Select CityWall New Delhi und beim Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival. Er war als Dozent u.A. bereits für die Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg tätig.
Seit März 2017 ist er Dozent für Musik bei dem Projekt DIE KÖNIGE.

Nico Sauer

Nico Sauer sucht nach künstlerischen Fremdkörpern, die sich antagonistisch zu gewohnten Rezeptionshaltungen verhalten und ein Kunstverständnis soweit gefährden sollen, bis sie ein neues ermöglichen. Seine Ideen finden ihren Ausdruck in der Transformation von Kontexten, deren heimlicher Invasion und Umdeutung.
Er sieht sich als post-kapitalistischer back door man und seine Arbeiten als transmediale Performance.
Seit April 2017 ist er als Dozent für Kostüme und Masken Teil des Projektes DIE KÖNIGE.

Diwali Hasskan

Finished High School 2014 in Shingal | Iraq with abitur.
Diwali worked between 2010 and 2014 as a blacksmith and a sheetmetal-worker in Shingal. 2015 he volunteered in a UN-camp for people on the move in Duhok | Iraq.
Since March 2016, Diwali heads the technical managment of KUNSTASYL.

Carolin Bernhofer

Studierte Mathematik in München und schloß ihr Studium mit Diplom ab. Ihr nachfolgend in Kassel begonnenes Studium der bildenenden Kunst führt sie seit 2013 an der UDK in der Klasse von Mark Lammert fort. Neben ihrem Studium arbeit sie im Bereich der Technologietransfer-Beratung.

Said Sabbagh

Kommt aus Aleppo, Syrien. Er arbeitete als Großhändler für Kfz-Ersatzteile und war Besitzer einer Kunststoff-Fabrik. Als einziges Kind in der Familie übernahm er das Handelsgebewerbe seines Vaters.
Durch die Umstände des Krieges entschied er Syrien zu verlassen.
Seit April 2016 ist Said KUNSTASYL. Seit Dezember 2016 gibt er jeden zweiten Samstag in der Ausstellung "daHEIM:Einsichten in flüchtige Leben" Führungen.

Therry Kornath

After an apprenticeship as carpenter followed a study from 2009- 2012 at the Hochschule
für Bildende Kunst in Dresden, which she graduate as Master of crafts student.

Till Rimmele

After completing his training as officer he continued to study Arts & Culture at Maastricht University majoring in Media and a minor in creative writing. He is now a freelance photojournalist and blogger.
